Leader-Shift

I think like most people, I have used 'outcome' prayer in my past. You know... when you really want something to happen, or to have someone in your life or a specific request... You pray for THAT thing.

🔥Well, here is the news I heard and want to share... God doesn't deliver what your expectations are... He delivers what you need.

🔥Many times, it is NOT what you had expected or what you even WANT... but there is a plan.

🧩You just don't have all the pieces to this puzzle. You might want a corner piece so you can see your boundaries but God gives you a middle piece. You cannot see where it fits in the puzzle but trust me (trust him) ... It fits. 🧩🧩

🔥Business is the same way.

🔥As entrepreneurs, we are idealists. We have a vision. We make a plan. And we work towards that relentlessly.

🔥We have grit, determination and drive. We want that outcome; we even pray for it.

🔥And sometimes (many times), we get something totally different. A different path, a different employee, and different curveball. We get a different #win, a different door opens or a door shuts.

✅ So, "Leader-shift" (a term I hear from my favorite leadership mentor @John Maxwell).

✅ Shift from your 'outcome' prayer to a prayer for guidance, clarity and insight. Pray for awareness, encouragement and protection. The bible is filled with the scripture to guide us in these types of prayer.

✅ In business, as in life, being open to receiving what the universe, God or your greater power has to show you... is what GREAT leaders do.
