Comfort is not my Standard

COMFORT IS NOT MY STANDARD 

I heard this today and love the reminder. 

I don’t live in comfortable and challenge those places where I kick back and relax. 

I woke up and went to the bathroom this am. I LITERALLY sat on the toilet for 10 minutes talking myself into going back to bed and trust me… I had ALL the reasons. I could recite some good explanations why getting another hour of sleep would be a better choice. 

Then, I stood up, put my workout clothes on and went to the gym. 

I still hadn’t convinced myself that I made the best decision…. But somewhere between sitting on the toilet and the end of a great workout…. I stopped listening to what my wonderful husband calls my #bitchvoice and listened to my #bossvoice Heck yeah! COMFORT IS NOT MY STANDARD

The best way to combat the state of this country is to fill it with people who choose the uncomfortable option. (Not a political statement. I don’t give a POOP about opinions)

Today = Chose something uncomfortable NOW.
